Our Mission
Train. Play. Compete.
MN Rush Flag Football provides boys and girls ages 5–18 with a complete flag football pathway focused on skill development, teamwork, competition and fun.
Beginning in December 2026, programs will be hosted at the National Sports Center in Blaine and will include winter training, in-house league play, Sunday morning competition, girls high-school preseason programming and opportunities to compete in local tournaments.
Whether your athlete is new to flag football or looking for a more competitive experience, MN Rush provides a place to learn, grow and compete.

A Complete Player Pathway
MN Rush Flag Football is designed to provide opportunities for athletes at every stage of development.
Learn → Train → Play → Compete → Select
Players can begin by learning the fundamentals, develop their skills through structured training, compete in league games and pursue additional opportunities through MN Rush Select tournament teams.
Sunday Morning Winter Flag Football Academy / League
December 2026–February 2027
The MN Rush Winter Flag Football Academy will combine skill development and game play into one convenient weekly program at the National Sports Center.
Each session will include approximately 25–30 minutes of training followed by 30 minutes of competition or league games.
Training will focus on:
- Passing, catching and ball skills
- Route running and offensive movement
- Flag pulling and defensive technique
- Speed, agility and coordination
- Position-specific development
- Teamwork and game awareness
- Small-sided and game-based competition
Winter Divisions
Rush Rookies | Ages 5–7
A fun introduction to flag football focused on movement, basic skills, teamwork and confidence.
Rush Youth | Ages 8–10
Continued skill development with an introduction to positions, routes, defensive concepts and structured game play.
Rush Academy | Ages 11–13
A development-focused program featuring more advanced skills, football concepts and competitive play.
Rush Competitive | Ages 14–15
Advanced position training, offensive and defensive concepts, and higher-level competition.
Rush High School | Ages 16–18
High-school-level development designed to prepare players for league, school and tournament competition.

Girls High School Preseason Training Camp
February–March 2027
National Sports Center
The MN Rush Girls High School Preseason Training Camp will help athletes prepare for the upcoming Minnesota high-school flag football season.
Players will participate in focused training covering:
- Quarterback development
- Throwing mechanics and decision-making
- Route running and receiving
- Offensive concepts and formations
- Defensive positioning and communication
- Flag-pulling technique
- Speed and agility
- Competitive game situations
Players may register individually, and existing high-school teams may participate together.
Girls High School Preseason League
Following the training camp, athletes will have the opportunity to compete in the Girls High School Preseason League.
The league is designed to help players and teams prepare for their spring season through organized, meaningful preseason competition.
Enter a full team or may enter as an Individual player without a team
The preseason program is intended to support area high-school programs by providing additional training and competition before the school season begins.
Open Spring League
The MN Rush Spring Flag League will provide athletes with a fun and competitive league experience.
Players may register individually and will be placed on balanced teams. Team-registration options may also be available for older divisions.
The league will feature:
- Eight-game season
- 5v5 game format
- Approximately 7–9 players per roster
- Organized scheduling and standings
- Paid or certified officials when available
- Championship or festival weekend
- Development-focused play for younger divisions
- Competitive divisions for older players

FEES
- Training Camp Only: $99–$129 per player
- Preseason League Only: $150–$175 per player
- Camp and League Package: $225–$249 per player
- High School Team Registration: $1,500–$1,800 per team

- Premier Facilities: Training sessions are conducted at the renowned National Sports Center in Blaine, Mounds View Community Center and other local areas offering access to top-tier training grounds.
