Player Loan Program

Being a member of Rush allows any of our players the opportunity to play with another Rush club, either domestically or internationally. To date, we have had several Rush players play with other Rush Clubs.

If players are looking to get more college exposure than our select program, then I can help place them with a team that may be attending a showcase that we are not. If you are interested then please reach out to Neil Cassidy

Rush National Select Program

The Rush Select program is an international program in which Rush Soccer forms “all star teams” that are comprised of the top Rush players from all across the world. The program starts from age U13 and is available through a players career with Rush Soccer ending at U19. These teams attend various events, both in the US and internationally on a yearly basis. The players get to see new ideas, play with top talent, learn from new coaches and develop as a player in a way most across the country can not. The programs aim is to give the top players within Rush unique learning experiences that help them evolve as both a player and a person.

Girls Developmental Academy Program – Invitation only-

Salvo have brought the girls GDA program as an offering to their members within the past 18 months. They reached out to us to see if we would be interested in forming a partnership to allow our top identified female players a pathway to play/train with their GDA team. The GDA allows for a player to be part-time which means the player can still play for Minnesota Rush. This was very appealing to us as we did not have a pathway for our top players and that often meant they left our club for a club in the cities. With this partnership we gain access to one of the top female levels of play in the country. I work closely with the GDA coaches and they send me emails of age groups and number of players that they wish to train and get to look at to be a part of the team. I then reach out to our coaches and age group directors to identify players we think could be successful. More information on the GDA and Salvo can be found here – http://salvosoccer.org/programs/performance-soccer/performance-programs/girls-development-academy

We are working to find a similar option for our male players.

Minnesota ODP (Olympic Development Program) – Open tryouts

This program is run by our State Association which is Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). It is for youth ages U11-U17 both genders. A basic overview is that player’s tryout for the State team. If they make the State team then they travel with others that made the team to a regional camp where all of the other States in our region are in attendance (we are Region II). From that camp a regional team is selected to attend various inter-regional events and some international. For more information on the program and tryouts please visit – https://www.mnyouthsoccer.org/page/show/5616715-odp-overview
